Atlantis Studios announced today the digital release of Hidden Star #2, the second chapter in its ambitious four-issue sequel to the popular Star Runner Chronicles saga. Hidden Star continues the story that began with the critically acclaimed Fallen Star (2021), Dark Star (2022), and Rising Star (2023) graphic novels about Aurora Palmer, a rebellious teen with unpredictable powers and an alien origin.
In Hidden Star #2, Aurora is trying to remain hidden, but when she learns Scott’s father is dying, she feels responsible and plans a desperate mission to find a cure. Meanwhile, an alien enemy is getting closer, and she fears that her new friends may be in danger. She is running out of time, and revealing her truth to the world may be the only way out.
“This issue has some startling revelations for those who’ve been following the series” explained series creator James Watson, “This is Aurora’s first big interstellar adventure, and the scope and expanse of her world will finally come into focus. This is one fans will not want to miss!”
The Star Runner Chronicles is a multi-volume graphic novel series on sale digitally and in print through retail outlets. It follows its heroine Aurora from the halls of high school to the inner rings of the Galaxy, and ultimately, to her destiny in the stars. This star-spanning series is written by James Watson and features top-notch artwork from leading professionals in the industry.

Each series follows Aurora Palmer, a rebellious teen with strange, unpredictable powers, and a desire to understand her true origins.
In Hidden Star, Aurora deals with the consequences of her dramatic battle in Rising Star. She returns for her final year at Madison High, but she must remain hidden, for fear that her alien powers could reveal her location and endanger her friends. Aurora’s suspicions are raised when a suspicious fire breaks out at the Science Lab. Have her enemies arrived on the planet – and infiltrated her school?

Atlantis Studios announced today the release of Star Runner: Rising Star, the third chapter in the Star Runner Chronicles graphic novel series. The Star Runner Chronicles follows Aurora Palmer, a rebellious teen girl born with strange, unpredictable powers, seeking the truth behind her mysterious past and the meaning of her alien origins.
In the series, Aurora travels from the halls of high school to the inner rings of the Galaxy, and ultimately, to her destiny in the stars. Written by screenwriter James Watson, this star-spanning saga showcases top-notch artwork from leading professionals in the industry. Rising Star completes the first trilogy of the ambitious six-issue series in both print and digital formats.
“As we begin this adventure, Aurora’s dreams are coming true”, said series creator James Watson “She has a great boyfriend, true friends, and a chance to travel to the stars. Atlantis Studios announced today the digital release of Fallen Star: Legacy, a special “one shot” comic in the popular Star Runner Chronicles series. Legacy is the first official sequel to Fallen Star (2020) the graphic novel which introduced readers to Aurora Palmer, a teen with mysterious abilities who risked everything to uncover the remarkable truth behind her origins.
In Fallen Star Legacy, Aurora uncovers a powerful artifact that is linked to her alien heritage. As its power increases, she is faced with mystery that could change forever her understanding of her destiny on Earth and impact her friends at Madison High.

Atlantis Studios announced today the print and digital release of Rising Star #4, the final chapter of the latest Star Runner Chronicles series. Rising Star continues the storyline that began with Fallen Star (2020) and Dark Star (2021), following Aurora Palmer a teen with unexplained origins who risks everything to uncover the remarkable truth behind her ultimate destiny.
In Rising Star #4, Aurora returns from her first trip to deep space, just as a horde of mechanical invaders power up their ultimate weapon of planetary destruction. Having been betrayed by the ruthless Pinkerton, Aurora and her friends realize that it’s up to them to stop the invading alien army, even against overwhelming odds.
“The future of the earth is at stake in this episode”, explains series creator James Watson, “so Aurora must apply everything she’s learned from her friends and her first trip to the stars. She must decide for herself what is worth defending, and what sacrifice she is willing to make for it.”
