Released in 2021 and 2022, the first six issues of this science fiction saga have generated a worldwide following. The Star Runner Chronicles follows the adventures of Aurora Palmer, a rebellious teen girl with a mysterious past and unpredictable powers she cannot control. Aurora learns she must uncover the truth of her past in order to achieve her incredible destiny.

Atlantis Studios announced today the release of Rising Star #2, the second issue of the ambitious four-part continuation of the Star Runner Chronicles saga. Rising Star is the second sequel to the story that started with graphic novels Fallen Star (2020) and Dark Star (2021), about Aurora Palmer, a rebellious teen girl with strange, unpredictable powers, and a desire to understand her alien origins.
In Rising Star #2, Aurora’s is close to achieving her long-awaited goal of flying the starship that was buried on her family farm. When the test launch is interrupted by a mysterious army, she finds that an old enemy has returned, and her friends are in mortal danger. Scott and his father are taken hostage, and Aurora realizes that there may be only one way to escape!
“In this episode, Aurora begins trapped by her enemies, surrounded and outnumbered” explained series creator James Watson about the new comic “She must make hard choices to ensure her friends are safe, but it means risking everything, taking a leap of faith into a new world she’s only dreamed of.”

Atlantis Studios announced today the release of Star Runner: Dark Star, the second chapter in the Star Runner Chronicles graphic novel series, and the sequel to this year’s popular Fallen Star. This follow-up adventure continues the story of Aurora Palmer, a rebellious teen girl born with strange, unpredictable powers, seeking the truth behind her mysterious past and the meaning of her alien origins.
Dark Star is the second volume of an ambitious five-volume series scheduled for release digitally and in print over the next few years. In the series, Aurora will travel from the halls of high school, to the inner rings of the Galaxy, and ultimately, to her destiny in the stars. Written by screenwriter James Watson, this star-spanning saga showcases top-notch artwork from leading professionals in the industry.
“This episode picks up where Fallen Star left off”, said series creator James Watson, “A few months have passed since those events and life for Aurora is returning to normal – as normal as it can be for a girl with her abilities.
