Atlantis Studios announced today the digital release of Rising Star #3, the latest chapter of the new four-part Star Runner Chronicles series. Rising Star continues the story that began with Fallen Star (2020) and Dark Star (2021), about normal teen Aurora Palmer who risks everything to uncover the remarkable truth behind her origins and find her ultimate destiny.
In Rising Star #3, Aurora and her boyfriend Scott find themselves adrift in deep space. They are rescued by a handsome captain from Aurora’s Homeworld, who has a surprising history with Aurora’s family. Back on Earth, her friends Kristine and Monica uncover the truth behind an alien artifact that could mean the complete destruction of Earth!
“In this episode Aurora gets everything she ever dreamed of.” explains series creator James Watson “but when that happens, she must face some hard choices about what’s really important to her.”
The Rising Star series is available to download directly from the Star Runner website, or from Amazon Kindle.

Atlantis Studios announced the release of an animated trailer for Rising Star, the latest chapter in its epic science fiction series, the Star Runner Chronicles. The trailer was produced in partnership with Atlanta-based Third Shift Media and highlights its action-packed storyline. It showcases artwork from the series, and features the voice talent of actress Jessica Belkin (American Horror Story, Pretty Little Liars)
Rising Star is the third book of a trilogy that began with graphic novels Fallen Star and Dark Star, both released nationally in 2021. The series follows the adventures of Aurora Palmer, a rebellious teen girl born with strange, unpredictable powers. When the government investigates her mysterious origins, Aurora risks everything to uncover the truth behind her destiny.
“In Rising Star Aurora is stronger and more confident”, said series creator James Watson, “She is ready to embrace her destiny, but everything goes wrong when an old enemy returns to stop her. Rising Star is the second sequel to the story that started with graphic novels Fallen Star (2020) and Dark Star (2021), about Aurora Palmer, a rebellious teen girl with strange, unpredictable powers, and a desire to understand her alien origins.
In Rising Star #2, Aurora’s is close to achieving her long-awaited goal of flying the starship that was buried on her family farm. When the test launch is interrupted by a mysterious army, she finds that an old enemy has returned, and her friends are in mortal danger.
